The Harry Ramsden team is very pleased to announce that, thanks to a huge opening weekend, things have got off to a flying start at our newly opened Shipley outlet.
Jointly founded by local entrepreneurs Vikesh and Dimple Patel and the Harry Ramsden organisation as part of our UK fish and chip franchise programme, the opening sees the brand return to its spiritual roots at the heart of West Yorkshire. The Patels, who own JVP ventures, opted for our Local Takeaway franchise outlet, and in doing so brought 10 full and part time jobs to the local area. The takeaway restaurant successfully opened on Wrose Road, Shipley, on the 2nd of April and has already seen customers coming through the doors in droves, all seeking out our inimitable, world famous fish and chips. As you can see from the images included below, the Harry Ramsden team made a splash in the area by inviting local customers, and even some council officials, to our big opening event. We were delighted to see the Lord Mayor of Bradford getting involved behind the scenes, but unfortunately he’s a bit too busy to join our team full time! He did, of course, sample one of our delicious fish dishes. The Shipley store represents the first of many initiatives to expand Harry Ramsden presence throughout Yorkshire, and indeed the UK, through our ambitious restaurant and ‘fast food’ franchise development scheme. Should you wish to learn more about our franchise opportunities, please download our brochure, or get in contact with one of our team today for further information.
