To support its nominated local charity, Epilepsy Lifestyle, Harry Ramsden’s is set to launch a series of live music events “Sounds by the Seaside” this November.

Join us this Saturday at Eastbourne with the launch of our live music events Sounds by the Seaside!

Our event kicks off this Saturday the 14th of November from 6.30 - 8.15pm it’s also FREE ENTRY

Harry Ramsden’s Area Manager, Kyle Miller notes;
“These events, which take place on Saturday 14, 21 and 28 November, offer an excellent way to raise money and also add something extra special for our diners. Linda has a beautiful Jazz swing voice, so guests can enjoy live music as well as some world famous Fish & Chips. Kane Taylor will be our other musician for the live music nights - he is a skilled solo guitarist and has also played in many venues and Weddings around East Sussex!”

Diners will be offered the opportunity to donate any spare change into one of the Epilepsy Lifestyle cans which will be circulated during the evenings. The money raised will boost Harry’s current fundraising, whereby 1p from every transaction since August until 1 December will be given to Marie’s charity, which was founded last March because her daughter Aimee lives with a life limiting form of epilepsy. The family have been fortunate enough to receive assistance locally with regards to night time monitoring for Aimee, but many families are unable to access such support.
Marie notes;
“Epilepsy Lifestyle works to improve the lives of children and adults with any form of epilepsy in and around Eastbourne through their 'Night Time Monitoring Programme' SUDEP (Sudden Unexpected Death in Epilepsy Patients) affects 1 in every 1000 epilepsy sufferers and we provide monitoring equipment that has the potential to save lives. No one should ever have to wake to find their child or loved one has died in the night from a seizure. Epilepsy can, and does, kill, our mission is to do everything we can to prevent that happening and provide reassurance during the night.”

Our Live music nights will be running for 3 consecutive Saturdays 14th, 21st & 28th of November.
